Double Column Vertical Lathe CQ5240 is a standard model in series specifications. It is widely used in the field of metallurgical, chemical, motor manufacturing, mine, ship-building, iron & steel, military engineering industry. This machine can be used for turning inside and outside cylindrical surface or taper surface of large work-pieces. This machine has been ameliorated on the following aspects: 1. The main parts of the machine have been strengthened: columns are widened, base and table are thickened, and the machine weight is 5 ton heavier than that of same specification vertical lathe. So, the rigidity of whole machine is enhanced, especially when columns are lengthened for machining large size work-pieces. 2. The main motor is driven by a frequency conversion motor, so the speed can be changed steplessly. 3. Two double row short cylinder roller bearings are respectively mounted on upper and lower positions of the table spindle, so as to ensure the high accuracy when the cutting is performed at upper position of the work-piece, especially the large work-pieces. 4. The feed motion is driven by a frequency conversion motor via a clutch. The speed is changed steplessly. |
